i like forums too. they do tend to have ads, or they have donations from the members, or they sell merchandise, or they simply support some (usually) niche/hobbyist industry. thats all fine if the members are civil. its best to have a family friendly forum.

    i am sure we will have flairs one day. but i am a text-based minimalist. ascii art is enough for me :-)
