      saidit folks are fine, we just need more i guess. each time reddit bans a sub is a win for us! after that, its really what we make of it. its all up to us. i think its important to engage them, it will generate discussions and that is a content that is really interesting. knowing what others know and think, so we can learn from each other. like with all social media, more people will attract more people.. that being said, i muted a bunch of sport streaming subs. thats too brain dead for me and a waste of time/life.

        i like forums too. they do tend to have ads, or they have donations from the members, or they sell merchandise, or they simply support some (usually) niche/hobbyist industry. thats all fine if the members are civil. its best to have a family friendly forum.

            yeah, never lived in a third-world country, but i found people are not really different in the more developed, westernized nations.
