Interesting article, especially the way it's written. When put that way, it becomes clear that even the overton window feeds in to the "divide and conquer" tactic.

I always wondered about the divide and conquer thing, especially around the trans bathroom and trans rights debates. I didn't know there was an actual name for this strategy. Thanks

I didn't know the term either, glad to know it now.

It's funny, I was talking with a friend who was defending voting for the lesser of two evils just last week, and I find it hard to justify that thinking instead of screaming for better. This article really stood out after that conversation.
