It's ironic that Philadelphia is a name of something good in the book of Revelation.... The church of Philadelphia received a promise from Jesus that they would be spared the hour of temptation that shall befall the world. That church is not a man-made building. How can an evil place on earth be so good in heaven? It is like the city of God: New Jerusalem, which shall come down from heaven, but the earthly Jerusalem was so dark that there they crucified Jesus publicly on a cross. The name of a dark place on earth is the name of something good in heaven. Some people even use the name Jesus as a curse word, but it is the only name by which a man may be saved. Here, what is evil is called good, and what is good is called evil: a sign of the end of this world.
