When Fake Accusations Go Wrong. Accuses man who can face 99 years in prison. Gets a fine and probation for falsely accusing said man. Great justice system.

Yes it sucks but note that in this case justice prevailed. And it is already hard enough for abused/raped people to go to the cops without the threat of jail if the cops don't believe them. And in a lot of cases the cops don't believe them because they may be abusers themselves or more likely they are too lazy to do their jobs.

Justice didn't prevail.

If justice had prevailed, that woman would be in prison doing 99 years of hard time. It's exactly what she tried to do to an innocent man.

Nobody was raped. Literally nobody. The only one who was abused was the innocent man.
