I don't have any experience with these creatures, so I should not say. I didn't even know what a muskrat was... had to look it up and I'm still not sure if it's a beaver or what?

Tl:dr: beavers are bigger and have bigger tails, and while they both build lodges, they make them out of different things. They are both semi-aquatic rodents but not actually closely related.

Thanks for that. I read the page (and while I do not believe the evolution part of the page, since all life has a Creator) I did learn that beavers make dams, but muskrats do not.
