Sounds like they didn't want them to see how shitty the rations really were.

Don't accuse me of defending anyone, but just eyeballing it, the rations would cost about 10 times more than what it would to feed troops from a mess.

They used the dented cans that nobody bought from the store. They totally cheaped out. No drinks, no quick energy foods like candy or energy bars, just a box with cheap canned food. You'd think such a wealthy nation, one that receives billions in aid from the US every year (why?) wouldn't cheap out when it comes to feeding their soldiers. But you'd be wrong.

This is such a strange take.

Protein and good fats are clearly better for everyone than some crappy energy bars with zero real nutrition.

What army even gives out energy bars? Those things are just for advertising lead suckers.

All of them? They're commonly included in military rations because soldiers frequently need quick energy. There is tons of candy and sports drinks too.

So fast to defend the Jews. With the billions they take in from the US taxpayer every year, they don't need people to take their side for free. What a strange take.

I love Steve 1989.

You can tell they don't do a lot of marching around without some kind of close mechanized support. Hauling all those tins and watery food around in their packs would get real heavy, real quick.
