I still have a nagging doubt about all of it. I really think the virus does something permenant to the immune system. I hope I am wrong but the research I read strongly suggests the respiratory symptoms are just an initial inflammatory response.

Yeah I had long covid for 6 months after I got Delta, so I could believe it affects immune response in a long-term way. A small single Ivermectin seemed to permanently resolve the symptoms for me after 6 months of suffering from extreme fatigue, dizziness upon standing that would come and go on a weekly basis, etc

Hmmm yeah... There is something weird going on for sure. The way they went all out to prevent and discredit Ivermectin seems insane. Even if they really believed it did not work then so what? People would soon have found that out for themselves if it were true.

Interesting, I will read some more about the B lymphocyte memory cells. Why do you think the virus doesn't allow them to be built, while most other viruses do? It would explain the effects though. Perhaps though it's just like the flu, where the strains change so regularly that even if you're immune to last year's flu, you're not immune to the new strain.
As far as the discrediting ivermectin, I am fairly certain this is due to the Emergency Use Authorization which allows all these mRNA shots to be used nationally, which requires that "no other treatments be available". So the existence of other treatments might invalidate the EUA which could cost these pharma companies literally tens of billions of dollars in potential profit. So they're bribing the media to make ivermectin look bad, to lock in those EUA profits, because that is the profitable maneuver.
IMO this EUA theory makes everything else make perfect sense.

don't fall for the propaganda

Its not propaganda. You don't have to trawl through hundreds of research papers to find propaganda.
The propaganda is the mainstream media version which says the only thing to be concerned about is the respiratory symptoms and getting vaccinated.
