the USSR favored real art, which is hard to learn how to make, being a good painter or sculpter takes years of practice. That isn't attractive to lazy americans so the CIA made up post modernism to attract them and make the USSR look bad.
"Art has no intrinsic value." One auction sale, $5 ML auction house profit in 10 minutes. I see why HB is an artist now. Money laundering, tax dodge for the exclusive, or people with money making more in a unregulated market?

Very interesting video. Lots of people know the high-level art world is a scam, but this goes in to a lot of details about it I'd never considered.
