With hospitals empty, what are we going to do with all this space for activities and no patients to disturb?

I'm not sure that's a good way to look at it. Yes, many hospitals are empty because they're not doing elective surgeries in the same numbers as before covid, but that doesn't mean a person who needs ventilation and intensive care is the same as a person there for kidney stones or a colonoscopy. It's just not interchangeable.
