Don't throw good money after bad. Cut your losses and move on.

I have to, at the very least, win the public relations war.

I know how you feel. My previous landlord did a totally illegal eviction because they didn't want to fix the AC and the judge rubber stamped the eviction proceedings, wouldn't even look at the evidence we had documented. In one breathe he said it doesn't matter unless you document your issues via certified mail, and when we presented that, he said it still didn't matter.

It sucks but it wasn't worth pursuing, and that was against a company that didn't need $100 of foodstamps a month.

I guess if you have a shot at a rent to own agreement and you want to pursue that avenue you could contact a lawyer.

The courts are corrupt. To be honest: they should be arrested. I have yet to find a single judge who actually cares about the law.

Regardless, this isn't a legal battle — the laws are super lax in my state to favor landlords, slanderers, and other criminals — but rather a social one: a war of hearts and minds.

To be honest: I just want people to know she's a horrible human being and to never enter into any sort of business agreement with her.
