Great, but if you look at history, voting for anything but the 2-party is null.

It doesn't really matter. The higher the percent of third party/independent votes gets, the better. At the very least it might get the duopoly thinking about incorporating a few third party policies. At most it might convince more people to vote third party. Voting D or R, or just not voting, is part of the problem. You can't complain about the outcome of the election if you didn't vote. (There are exceptions to this, though.)
