It's about control. It's also about getting the people to socially police themselves with arbitrary "social norms" and "new normal" mentalities. The state doesn't have to enforce their half baked ideas if enough people are scared and scold those that don't follow their rules. I'm with you though, wear one, don't wear one I really don't care either way. What I do care about is being lied to by our leadership, that alone should be cause for concern, not a virus that has a high recovery rate.
Meanwhile, Wednesday was the lowest deaths from covid in the last 4 months.
Ironically, most of our population is to stupid to critically think. Show them a graph and tell them aliens are on the way to pluck them up and most of them would rush home to pack their bags
This sheriff is from Lewis County, WA, which is a very big very empty place. Normally I'm in favor of masks, if you are in a densely populated area.
Another backward ass pig that wants to put lives in danger because he cant be bothered to actually do his fucking job of protecting people. Hopefully he gets hit by a bus before he can spread it to others.
Its not like its hard to wear a mask.
If you are in a dense metro area you should wear one, but if you are outside on a farm with cows what is the purpose? Do the farm animals have covid now? It's hard for this stuff to spread in rural areas.
No one is asking them to have one on in the middle of nowhere, but you still need to put one on if you are going to the store for example.
But you don't NEED TO. It is and always has been up to the individual to make those decisions for themselves in a free country. FREEDOM = RESPONSIBILITY.
Yeah, responsibility to your fellow countrymen with bad immune system.
Those people are already wearing masks and hiding in their closets.
That seems reasonable to me. It sounds like we don't have any disagreements then. I just want some nuance in regards to rural vs urban policy. I remember a video of a man in the UK for example, getting in trouble for rowing in his pattle boat out in the middle of nowhere, which seems absurd to me.
I think it is hard to wear a mask.
I guess that is just a little more insight into Trump's base.
How's that?
I got nothing to do with Trump or his base.
thinking its hard to wear a mask.
huh?
why wouldn't your first thought be to call me a "voluntarist" instead?
wolves form packs, highly planned and highly effective hunting tactics. for example, in wintertime they'd wait until dawn to hunt big goats, because the goats' bladders are all full and it's hard for them to run up the mountains. the wolves who get the meat have to wake up to howling winds when goats sleep in their sweet dreams behind the mountain. i think there are civilized wolves in this world but at this point a lot of those cultures are lost.

I don't know why masks had to become a political thing. Wear one, don't wear one, I don't care. Very few people wear them correctly anyway.
