I was offended when Robert Downey JR played Sherlock Holmes.

They could have found a real Holmes to play the part. Maybe they could have found a relative of John Holmes.

I personally believe David Tennant would have been better, hell, he nailed Dr Who to a tee and was the best one in modern times imo

Some are clearly worse than others.

I haven't watched the show in years, so I don't have an opinion on Tennant.

Edit: I used to watch Dr who years ago, so I recall the basic premise(s). Many years ago.
They changed the character too often and I moved on.

You're not missing out on much in the last year or two - that's for sure. They completely decimated his backstory and that of "his people" and made it a "social commentary" about our current times.

Tennant was by and far the best Doctor since Tom Baker.

Dr Who failed when they went SJW and oput a female Doctor in the mix as the final doctor. PERIOD
