Did it catch fire and burn down, killing dozens of people?

That's what happened to another one of these places a few years ago. The fire inspectors tried to shut it down, but the artistic community reacted strongly, shouting "fascist!" Then after the tragedy they were out front shitting on the fire department for not shutting it down and letting people die.

Nah, this place was legit. It's actually a legally operated bar, so you might call those speakeasy aspects a theme.

Professionally run on the inside, it had a long, well-stocked bar, full-size billiards tables, video game room — looked like a normal bar on the inside.

Did it operate during a global pandemic, functioning as a place that people can exchange germs and get sick from each other, in direct violation of health code? Endangering not just themselves but all of us?
