Some are saying this might indicate something is about to happen as this sort of broad-scale GPS jamming test is rather unusual. In addition to the seizure of new consumer nightvision systems, it raises some questions.

It certainly does raise some questions. And if the FBI can "eminent domain" those things, where does it end? Water? Food? Phones? Electricity? Cut off all our connectivity? The 'invisible' government is out of control!

It doesn't end. They claim it all, for full spectrum dominance. We are all disposable to them, but for now, we serve them so we're kept around. Were we to rise up they'd mow us down.

SO sick of it!! Grrr!

To be honest, it really doesn't look good from most points of view, but there are several slivers of light, cracks if you will. There is always hope, until we're dead. My /s/BittersweetSeeds is the best of what I've got so far, yet to be shared, and it's actually more about possibilities and raising questions that actually predicting what will happen in 30 years.

Have you got any ideas, practical or fanciful about how to break free, individually or collectively some how?

This is the first I've heard of eminent domain being used to take goods rather than land. I thought that it had to be for "public use", although that has been interpreted very broadly. Of course, with civil asset forfeiture they can pretty much pillage with impunity anyways.

The USG has complete control of the GPS system, and my understanding is the civilian support can be totally disabled at will separately from military service.

If you assume these tests are legit, the most likely explanation is that they are testing countermeasures to jamming by trying to jam it through methods enemies would use.

Are they blocking GLONASS as well as the US GPS system?

Or other things too. What else are they testing and/or blocking?
