Troll? Regardless, I’ll take a stab at this ridiculousness.

They have had the dog for 4 years. The dog knew her partner as a male for 2.5 years. Now, partner probably dressing/looking and smelling differently.

Dog recognizes partner as a weird looking male. Dog confused as hell.

The Guardian once ran an article by a journalist distraught her dog was racist so I believe this one.

I guess that I shouldn’t be surprised.

This dog has been living with this human for 4 years and it still doesn't trust him/fears him. The problem is not the dog, it is the guy. It's not a "dog is scared of men" thing, the dog is not an idiot, 4 years with this man, 2.5 years with the hormones and change in scent, the dog would have gotten used to him by now. The guy is creeping the dog out, that's the problem.

The AGP/BPD overlap is a very real thing.

Dogs cannot tell/take a lie. She knows something is up.

My solution: rehome the "trans wife" instead.
