WE ARE ALL MANIPULATED. The only way to be impervious to manipulation is to have NO BELIEFS WHATSOEVER. Not even in gravity, the sequentiality of time, or that the Sun will rise after the night. NOTHING.

It's not impossible, but it's a lot of work given that most people's minds are built on layer upon layer upon layer of belief.
