HP's "Customer experience improvement program" is anything but what they named it. Unfortunately, every company is using analytics is some form. There must be thousands of databases, with pretty much the same stuff in them, by now.

Stuff like this makes me consider if HP is subjectively evil. Unfortunately they're just greedy at the cost of their consumers and we live in a world where such is encouraged.

I stopped supporting HP a long time ago, and the fact they pretty much charge you "by the page" (not ink) is a business model everyone should avoid. That's DRM for you, you don't own what you buy, just become another sucker by statistic.
