I mean, I could have told you that with an undergraduate engineering degree. 200+MW capacity, never exceeds 50% output. Sad.

I run a solar startup, I've verified by first hand measurements that you can charge a car with an array that same footprint (10ft x 17ft). The solar panels and charging hardware are about what you would pay for 5 years of fuel. then I pay nothing to drive until the system wears out for 15 years.

What's wrong with this report is that the retired Oxford teacher was obviously paid by the Global Warming Policy Foundation to criticize windfarms. Wade wrote them a short commentary to put into a glossy, colorful brochure. It's not a scientific, refereed study. It's disinformation, specifically for the purpose of helping the GWPF challenge climate change regulations.

The retired Oxford teacher wants the money because his teaching pension sucks. He'll do anything, as we can see, even at the expense of a lifetime of nuclear research. As you can see in his teeny-tiny statement in the PDF, he picked unreliable data to make one or two points.

Nothing to see here except the usual climate change denial. But thanks for posting it, as I would not have known of its existence. It's sad that there are academics willing to ruin their reputations in this way.

You have no idea of science, do you?
Real science helps to distinguish between fantasy and physical reality.

CO2 does not warm the earth. It is that bright thing up in the sky which varies in long cycles. Currently there is a plasma storm.
The vikings were growing hop on Greenland, because it was hot during that cycle. It was called "green", because it was green.

The technocrats (now World Economic Forum) want control over energy to promote a world-wide communist government.
They have control over most publications to spread their propaganda.
They (including many oil-barons) pushed the idea of CO2 causing the hot solar cycles.
They reversed cause-and-effect. CO2 is released from the sea during warm periods, because water cant contain as much CO2.
But a correlation scares people, and makes them stop thinking. Some people became so crazy that they glued themselves to the roads.

All the rich people promoting CO2 scare are using it to get more monopolies over all our resources.
Maybe you have noticed that the price of eggs has gone up?
It is all the same group of people that organized this.
And they all want to build a bigger industry, with even more pollution.
They are not the answer, they are the problem. Don't give them any support.

You lost me at "You have no idea of science, do you?" - and then you proceed to discuss matters that do not argue scientifically against my comments. Your comments support BigOil propaganda. There are no problems with the expansion of renewable energy options, unless you work for an oil company that will see its profits slashed eventally.
