10ftx17ft in what country/season? California/summer? I guess 500 watts (1.5k max).
And what charging time? 12 hours during daytime?
Is it over one mile per hour?

It has its uses, but it is also very overrated.
I think it is good for air-conditioning and low power systems if sufficient daylight.
But don't forget to cool them, because they can get hot.

A modest 2Kw array made of 100w-160w 8bb-10bb independent panels connected to our own power system charging 10kw of assorted lipo/sla/agm batteries(some surge, some carry). Charges a tesla made mercedes ev with 30kw bank at 1.5kw(15amp) though the system will tolerate 3kw draw. car gets roughly 2.7kw per mile at 60mph and 2.3kw at 90mph. I'm in Florida so AC on max all the time. $0.0/mile legit prototype in my front yard. Just waiting to get Elon Musk's attention.

Must be 1990s panels total 500w from that large a space.
