Alternative fuels should've been the iteration BEFORE electric vehicles.

When I started researching diesel vehicles, I was surprised to find highly efficient diesels sold in other counties only. It made me realize that there was another scam at play which involved EPA. Seems like all govt agencies are to screw us and only that. If they weren't, diesel would be #1 vehicle and home diesel plants would be commonplace.

On the one hand deisel does have a lot of advantages, and I have seen how corrupt the government is. But on the other deisels do produce exhaust that is more toxic than gasoline engine exhaust.

One of the major advantages to deisel is that you can run them on a lot of dirty fuels, which can be produced cheaply. This takes away power from gasoline producers. But dirty fuel produces dirty exhaust and soot covered cities is not really the part of the 50's people want back.

Deisel will win when, and if, gasoline becomes scarce. Which is why it is popular in Europe. They also have propane and natural gas cars.

I'm not ready to assume the worst about the regulations that "ban" deisels. What they actually say is that those engines have to meet exhaust standards that they can't yet meet. So long as gasonline is cheap and plentiful that is not a big problem, and those laws will chang as soon as they need to.

Anyone can make biodiesel and gas is only cheaper because of the excessive tax that they put on diesel fuel. It should be the reverse.
