Yeah it might turn out bad, or it might turn out great, like Linux and Blender; putting powerful and competitive products in the hands of literally anyone who wants them regardless of their means. I.e. leveling the playing field.
If I could have AI create for me, the perfect personalized entertainment, be it a movie, game, artwork, music, whatever, that would be pretty fucking bad-ass. I have no respect for the traditional entertainment industry as it exists now, because of how much contempt they have for their customers and how they get away with screwing them over, literally all. the. time.
