The thing that concerns me about stuff like this and Ameliorated is that you're just installing a full modified OS and you don't know what changes have been made. There could be a backdoor, malware, other vulnerabilities (intentional or not) and you've got it baked into the system. I'd rather use a tool myself to modify the image myself like WinReducer or NTLite, or wait for the release of Win 11 LTSC.

Hey Panzer, how do you feel about using a proprietary OS with the condition that you're using something like Little Snitch (or the Windows equivalent) to even block system apps from connecting to the Internet? Can you trust the OS that way, or will baked in backdoors be able to bypass the firewall?

Man. I'm not content with GNU/Linux. There's too many rough edges and my system keeps falling apart after updates. I'm stuck in distro hopping hell.

Go with the option which has the benefit of a thousand different organizations' black boxes in the code instead of just one?
