Given that Google and other large email providers no longer accept email from anyone other than large email providers and small email servers are completely blocked, the email protocol has already been subverted. So, it really does not matter what the big companaies do to the email protocol now, since no one else can use it anyway.

It mentions that X server is being 'warred on', but it has legitimate security concerns. See this article. The code also seems to be a mess.

"Security concerns" are generally code for progressivism/woke. Things like 2fa, which is overly hostile to the user in the name of keeping the user safe and removes user agency, while most incidents involve the database on the backend.

"Security concerns" are generally a scam, the biggest scam since probably the push for Air bags in cars and how many lives they save..

Not sure if trolling... 2fa does improve security a lot, and user agency is kept intact so long as it's opt-in, so the issue lies with websites requiring it. The article I linked to points out that there is no isolation between windows in X server, you didn't address that.

That is good news.

Why is everyone trying to eliminate POP3 and IMAP for email? I can't read my email on my Android phone because POP3 is disabled.
