Every man-made program can only be as smart as the people coding it and the data put into it.

This was exemplified several times already. I got a feeling that often when people reach the end of their own imaginative power, they tend to think of hell or some other apocalyptic stuff. Imho this is because beliefs are seemingly the only things that remain when entering real uncharted territory.

Oh I don't believe any of this singularity sentient AI nonsense.

I do think they will be able to replace the majority of the workforce with AI and robots in the very near future though. The wealthy have always needed the working class until maybe very soon, when we will be solely a source of carbon emissions and consumers of govenment handouts taxed from mega robot companies rather than human capital. I don't think that scenario ends well

Algorithms will judge and categorize human beings in the next decade more and more, I assume.

Every application will pre-sorted into a drawer by an algorithm in the near future.

Hiring personal to actually interview people will become too expensive once these "solutions" to put customers, business partners, citizens even potential spouses into a drawer are cheap enough.

We'll soon live in a world where algorithms will decide our fates based on the prejudices they were fed with. And microscopic changes to fight this because even when you contact someone it will most likely also be addressed with an algorithm. Googol already implemented this on a massive scale for its customer "support" (more: the thingamajig they keep the people paying them off their asses with).

It's still possible for you to award a points system and the ai finds the best way to get the points.

You might assume it's going to go in a certain direction and then it switches because it's a madlad and kills you for more points lol.
