    I'm pretty pissed my £9k car has annoying service lights I can't turn off.

    Google how to turn off for your car. Most cars have some sort of Konami code to reset the service warnings. Worst case you can just get a cheap OBD device to do it.

    Just tape over that part of the dash so you can't see them.
