    Google how to turn off for your car. Most cars have some sort of Konami code to reset the service warnings. Worst case you can just get a cheap OBD device to do it.

    Just tape over that part of the dash so you can't see them.

    Just ignore the stupid efforts to complain about John Deere's GPL open source compliance, as there's nothing that suggest they aren't compliant. You can use open source in your proprietary devices. You are only required to make available source modifications you've made to GPL code. Not everything you build on top of GPL systems.
