    You know what I want on my tv? A device that verifies it’s me prior to using it. I want a third party, that is out of my control, to have power over an item in my house, so that I can feel safe.

    Personally, I think we need safety officers in every bathroom across the nation so they can watch me take a shit. This way they can help me if I’m doing anything improperly.

        i once sold a laser printer to a law firm. i told them it was six months old. they looked on the back of the machine and it had a manufactured date of last month.

          Of course, some routers may have a paralel no-password connectivity channel where the TV logs on and shares the data. Who the fuck knows.

          So find out what IP and socket to block on your router so they can't get into it remotely.
