I've used it in the past to record tracks. It's a great DAW with a lot of features. I'm using Audacity right now but unlike Ardour, the editing is destructive. Audacity isn't really a DAW but I thought I'd record with it for simplicity's sake. I'm going back to Ardour for my next project.
