Well, when:

  1. The state has annual blackouts

  2. Adding a plug to your garage costs over $1k

  3. Most apartments won't have the option for a plug due to #2 and cheap landlords

  4. Still a major lack of infrastructure

It becomes a hassle.

So why would anyone buy an electric vehicle in the first place, do people actually buy a car without researching ?. 2.Adding a plug to your garage costs over $1k, At $500 3.Most apartments won't have the option for a plug. Where are you from that a kitchen or laundry room has enough space to park and charge your car ever day?

Try and think for a few seconds, if your home has electric cooking range. well hell almost every home is wired for 115 and 230 volt. Unless your home was built in 1920. My home built in 1948 has 230 V. My sons home built in 1988 has 230 V and 115 v.
