I guess the best way to be anonymous is to just not use the internet and go off-grid.
Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't digital finger prints based off of how unique the user activity is? I.e if you go on specific websites everyday, use less-common addons, etc etc - it jeaporidizes your anonymity right?

They can use that data if they collect it but fingerprints come from your browser and device information if I'm not mistaken.
