Was listening to something similar on NPR the other day. Interesting stuff.

For me, it's the text messaging. I used to hate it, but now like it because I can answer at my convenience. However, just the sound of the text message notification takes my attention away until I read it. The worst is people who text several times in a matter of minutes.
