Happy to see somebody of Musk's stature and resume coming out and speaking sense in a time of complete hysteria! The decision of whether or not to take a vaccine or any other substance should be up to the individual and their family alone, and the government should have ZERO say in the matter!

      It's the politicians and people with cushy work from home jobs supporting lockdowns that live in a fairytale world. They are oblivious or indifferent to the economic destruction and mental heath crisis caused by these lockdowns and are willing to sacrifice their fellow people's wellbeing so they can feel "safe". I'll bet all the Tesla workers who voluntarily went back to work in defiance of the shutdown were happier than the other thousands who were laid off and struggling to feed their families and pay rent / mortgages.

      Maybe. Or they simply locked down too late after denials by the president. It's really water under the bridge already to dwell on the past. I can't say I hid from the virus. I flew on airplanes, ate in restaurants and crossed an international border even though it was officially "closed". My test came back negative afterwards. But I also wore a mask the whole time and would still get a vaccine. I've seen a bunch of rich white blond people complaining about masks and vaccines, and frankly they seem like pretentious assholes, like too good for a vaccine, too vain to cover face.

      I don't know about all the digressions underway here, but I would question Musk's fixation on electric cars. Where is all the extra electricity supposed to come from? Apparently the energy grid is hard pressed to handle current consumption. From what I'm now seeing, another Enron fiasco is looming on the horizon, with rolling blackouts not far behind. Now add in a million electric cars in the not too distant future. Seems risky to me, and speaking of risk, these self-driving cars sound like a blackhatters playground....custom made for mischief at best, and disaster at worst.

      For example, Texas windmills were serviced via desktop audits or remotely, because of Coco. So they were neglected and allowed to fail.

      Plenty of wind farms in Germany and Norway, etc.
      They seem to handle the winters without major issue.

      So we can be confident they'll eventually try to shut off oil, as well.

      Elon didn't say that. i did. I'm sure Elon understands the situation very well. That's why he is saying sane things about it.

      But mRNA is basically cellular code. You write up a recipe, translate it into mmRNA (modified messenger, designed to defeat cellular defense against foreign code intrusion) and then distribute. YOu can make cells make anything you want. You can add in reverse transcriptase code, maybe hiden in the codon, and have those new functions written to the hard drive (DNA) in the cell nucleus. It really is biohacking .

      If you wanted to make people express glowing patterns in their skin, you could program that into mmRNA and add it to vaccines, and people would start expressing, say, luciferin. whatever you want.

      With 6 billion people, a small % (a few million, say), may die due to unforseen or un cared about incompatibilities with messily evolved H-OS (human operating System) but those lines would soon die out and you'd be left with a more predictable base load of machines, sorry, people, to work with.

      FYI, this thing going around is not a vaccine. A vaccine is a weakened form of the virus that is injected to create antibodies. This is not what is being injected into people. Bill Gates and company invented a way to manipulate RNA and program your cells to do what they want.
