I like prop firms, for the most part, but i am not fond of companies that rip off people.

i have always felt that these "pay us a fee to trade a demo account and if you dont break ANY RULES, we will let you play a $100k buying power account($2k balance)" are complete and utter ripoff scams..

I strongly suspect that these companies, there are only a few that i remember like maverick and a few others, but let me tell you what they could do if they were really legit prop firms and NOT THE RIPOFF COMPANIES THAT I THINK THAT THEY ARE..

if they were legit, they could show a webpage that showed ALL of their current players that are taking their CHALLENGE and they could link their accounts to either myfxbook or tradingview or some other system that allows public viewing of an equity curve.

it would be so easy to do that, but they dont.. if they are truly legit and they did that, they would have a shitton of people signing up...

if they were legit prop companies, they would show a webpage that shows their traders that are currently taking their challenge..

either way, when anybody in this trading business just waltzes up and starts claiming a bunch of hot air nonsense about how trading is such an easy thing to do, my bullshit alarms go off and for dammed good reason..

there are several ways that they could be entirely transparent, but they dont.

i call bullshit.
