The one from Xerox Star has useless button. Arrows in AmigaOS can move the slider further.

Lisa has the best one in 1983. You can tell where you started from while dragging it.

XP's UI has always been satisfying to me. It's a nice change from seeing gray all the time.

It's simple and functional, and its still way faster than anything after it. Load it on your modern pc, and you'll see how way faster it is.

You'd have to define "faster." The first thing I do when I install any OS is turn off animations.

Is Xp Animated? I dont think it even had the animated load circle yet.

Twice as fast load times. And faster game performance. Loads more HD space, too.

If that were really true, I would switch, but those are outlandish claims. There seems to be a lot of debate about whether or not Windows XP should be installed on an SSD. There are no Windows XP drivers for modern graphics cards (source: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/). So what games are faster? Solitaire and minesweeper?

OSX still looks nice. 10 and lion are absolute trash. Take the other scrollbars and remove the colors and borders ... nice fail nerds.
