Twitter is shutting down Periscope

A former friend of mine in the music business told me that record labels will often sign bands that they feel are "competition" to bands they are trying to develop and promote. They, then, under-support these bands until their contracts run out years later. It seems like Twitter did this with both Vine and Periscope.

Hmm that's interesting. Seems a bit silly to not even try to have the platforms take off though.

I'm leaning more toward they tried to set up 2 platforms and failed.
