Don't be a pussy. It's been done this way for 20 years without incident and still chicken littles like this author with throw condescending tamper tantrums. If you never defeated security features to get shit done you are probably a loser who can't solve problems. Without any details about what exactly was being done here it is nothing short of stupid to be denouncing this work around as dangerous. It could be stupid and dangerous. It could be perfectly safe. The security defeating device is not evidence of anything, and writing an article to bitch about it only demonstrates the stupidity of the author.
