Many of the robot stories were about the loopholes and contradictions. And the zeroth law was invented by rogue robots with a god complex.
The part about not allowing a human to be harmed should be placed below following orders, though. See Jack Williamson’s “The Humanoids”.

No, not harming humans should still be first, but the through inaction allowing humans to be harmed should be third. Williamson’s humanoids wouldn’t even let us open windows above the ground floor. Silly humans might jump or fall out.
