The future of meat is not ultra processed bullshit that doesn't even occur anywhere in nature just so you can say that technically no animal flesh is included in what I'm putting in my mouth.

The "future of meat" is animal flesh that was raised in a pasture environment in a sustainable way that at least vaguely resembles their natural environment. This is in contrast to the "past" of a concentrated animal feedlot situation. The future will never be "some highly processed manufactured artificial bullshit".

The bioprinting technology use chicken cells and plant material to replicate the taste and texture of chicken meat.

Is this somehow better than the pink slime that's being served right now?

I guess is more ethical since an animal isn't raised for slaughter, but this kind of tech has potentially a much bigger reach e.g Russian cosmonauts printed meat on the international space station last year.

So I find it interesting and thought it was worth posting since saidit needs more content.

Ha, good point. Makes you wonder if we're even eatting it right now. ;)

Also, a good point on making a non-government-politics post. SaidIt does need more of this, thank you. :)
