It's pretty telling that this thing was designed in the 1990s and now, over 20 years later, Trump has announced the creation of the "space force" which ... is a new idea?
Nothing new about it, it was always the intent. From NASA to the Air Force, to DARPA, to the Space Force.

It's hard to recall but I think this the ship that they lost track of shortly after I entered it's orbit but I remember there being a surprisingly small fuss for a machine that cost so much to create.

This guy says one of the longest missions of the x-37 lasted 2 years! It was orbiting the earth for 2 years and then landed!
