I wanted to learn DVORAK once, but apparently it takes like 6 months to train yourself to over-write the QWERTY layout in your brain, and then the speed gains are only like 20% or so. And then also you can't use any other normal keyboard without having to think about it super hard. So I ended up deciding it wasn't worth it.
