The curation problem stops new creators and viewers to come to the platform. Having some kind of popular video section, separated in groups would make access to the platform easier.

The groups could be curated by users or creators as well (like subs).
    Groups could be: tech/ politics/ aww/ fun/ health/ controversial.
There could also be a friendly/kidsafe section.

The shit that has no place elsewhere, has a place on bitchute. But now bitchute is mostly shit. It prevents creators like me to put anything on it. To lessen the shit, EEV thinks that front-page curation is needed.

I am personally against promoting violence. This is also the idea on Saidit. This means that I think that we should make war-promoting videos (like normal news-propaganda) and anti-race videos (like KKK) less visible.

How do you mean, if you had one good creator... could set the tone?

      What tone(s) are you after?

In this new year I intend to make some content on 1 to 3 projects.

/s/BittersweetSeeds is my prime project, a storyboarded screenplay / graphic novel - that can potentially be board-o-maticed into a crude animation.

/s/Trutherism101 is my #2 project, an animated series. It could have many variations of development on the same scene until the "final" version is achieved - for every episode.

/s/GreenParty and /s/WindsorOntario I intend to make soon to collaborate with my local folks. We are also planning on developing a regular podcast/tubeshow that deals with local, regional, national, global, political and green issues. Of any of them, I suspect this might produce results soonest.

Also, while I would be happy to post on smaller sites first to promote them, I would insist on spreading the content across all platfroms, including Vimeo, BitChute, YouTube, etc. Perhaps with the aid of Restream.io.

Maybe be compatible with Restream.io or develop some Bit/Webtorrent way to multi-platform-share with other alternatives (ie. PeerTube) - not just the video but the show notes too.

Also, is this a custom video platform or is it your iteration of something extant (ie. PeerTube). I'm not interested in hosting and servers but I am interested control of my own content, so one day I may need to be interested in servers to actually have one of my own.

Yes, perhaps Restream.io is not the best example. And if there are tools out there that might allow one to upload a single video then that video gets reshared to all your various platforms and social networks with video, I'd be very interested to know about it and promote it. A one-click-to-all-platforms uploader of sorts.

IMO, everyone should have a server just as everyone has a fridge or water heater. All of the contents are in their control and not controlled by the dream of the cloud. The war is for our minds and obedience while being exploited. They don't care what's in your fridge or water heater.

That's why they're pushing lame web browsers on us. Our desktop computers are smaller than ever and most people just have a phone with minimal storage. Our home systems should be growing, not shrinking.

Maybe having a general site about general things in a world of other general sites is a little too general to get noticed. Perhaps you might consider being more specific somehow.

Rather than licencing out, IMO, you might consider developing decentralized FLOSS that includes a solid rewards system. That rewards system needs to support the servers/hosts/maintenance, the content creators, the curation and social aspect, and of course the cryptomining. With your project decentralized you are less burdened and safer and the system is more robust and free - and assuming you don't rig the thing too much (ie. scam) then your rewards should be sustainable (though the entire status quo is rigged to favour the "free" cloud for their control).

You might like to know that SaidIt's co-admin /u/d3rr hosts a federated PeerTube site: "DownTheMemoryHole".
