I feel like this article is full of lies.
I'm pretty certain that cold is the biggest killer, wherever you are, not heat. Certainly, in the UK deaths due to cold have been climbing 1000x faster than deaths due to heat (mostly because of energy poverty).
They are also posting "feels like" temperatures instead of actual thermometer readings, and I bet they don't post the real data afterwards to add some reality to the fearmongering.
NZ had a 'heatwave' this year. it lasted 3 days, and they recorded the 'peak' from each day. Where I was, that 'peak' was 10C hotter than the temperature of the day itself, maybe due to plane engine wash, who knows. The next night was the day's coldest on record since 1876.
They spin a narrative.
