Though I'd love to take the science on face value (which of course is something that should never be done with science, even the good studies), I do have to question whether this study was born out of the current day social trend of problematizing everything that is male. Maybe not. Maybe I'm being paranoid. However, I will note the researchers' names: Alexandra J. South, Emma Barkus, Emma E. Walter, Carley Mendonca, and Susan J. Thomas.
