The fasting that is described is called autophagy.
It's amazing. I should try it. Sounds terrible.

Yeah I think the body starts eating itself after you stop eating naturally, and the longer you go the more parts of your body your metabolism will start eating. Almost all the cells in your body are changed out a minimum of once every 7 years anyway. I imagine getting rid of damaged material makes cancers less likely to occur or develop
