There may be some truth here. I believe slavery is immoral. No amount of evidence for or against will have any effect on my stance. It is something I feel deep in my gut: owning other people is just wrong!

What if there are those people who are willing and wanting to be a slave to another? Perhaps this is hard to fathom, but such people have existed.

Good point. Although those wishing to be slaves have every right to be slaves, I would be disgusted by anyone willing to be their master. Totally emotional, I know, but I find slavery that slimy.
