I think this headline is misleading. While it may be true for this particular point in time, it is not a general statement. From what I understand the results show that the warning activity leading up to an eruption is decades, rather than centuries. While this does mean that an eruption could potentially occur in the next 20-30 years if we start seeing warning signs today, the chances of eruption have not changed, just the warning time.
