The maternal antibody failure is the one that has me dead set against my girls getting vaccinated. I want my grandchildren to have that evolved level of protection.

So when my partner freaked out about measles exposure, I was instead happy, because they need contact with wild-type to build resistance.

And with a good immune system, good nutrition and plenty of A &C vits, many kids can develop immunity without ever showing symptoms.

But babies? Half an immune system, they are FUCKED unless their mothers provide mABs.

Interestingly, in NZ now,, babies are given Immunoglobulins for the specific strain of measles in an outbreak, formerly a treatment (and the right treatment, IMO) reserved for the rich

Honestly, I am sorry you feel that I was harassing you by sharing the "sexual degeneracy" that was a very small part of my life for an experimental little while. I was aiming to minimize the greater general tribalism against "different" people that many people like to ridicule. My so-called harassments were only ever responses to you responses that you could have ignored - thus easily stopping the "harassment" cycle. I could have stopped sooner too, and for that I am sorry. For the most part I thought you were getting a kick out of the tit for tat.
