Seems like a 24 hour post limit, or somthing similar, would be a great idea

I would rather think something a little less strict: 1-2 posts per hour.

For the crossposting (aka the same post a couple of times) it's already a thing on the 'TO-DO' list IIRC to make that whole work a bit nicer.

You can set your preferences [content option --> home page] to Subscribed so you only see your subscribed subs. [You can easily in preferences unsub yourself from all subs and use https://saidit.net/subs/ to subscribe yourself to your interests only]
